The Victorians had a rather complicated relationship with the dead. Apparently, death wasn't always the end of a social engagement.
This set includes twelve unique vintage-inspired notecards featuring the peculiar world of Victorian spirit photography. Ghostly figures hovering beside grieving relatives. Mysterious faces appearing in mirrors and crystal balls. Disembodied hands making themselves unnecessarily familiar. And several deceased individuals who seem remarkably unwilling to stay deceased.
Each design is styled as an antique spirit photograph with faded sepia tones, aged textures, eerie double exposures, and the unsettling atmosphere of a nineteenth-century séance.
