Once upon a time, there was a child who always wandered a little farther into the woods than everyone else.
The old trees always seemed to have better stories. Strange stones were collected. Odd feathers found their way into pockets. Forgotten books, faded photographs, curious creatures, and anything with a hint of mystery always seemed far more interesting than what everyone else was looking at.
Years passed, as they have a habit of doing. The fascination with old things never left. It simply found new places to live - In ink, on paper, and eventually as greeting cards, stationery, bookplates, bookmarks, and other little curiosities.
Most people eventually stop wandering. This one simply moved indoors.
