Vintage Victorian Sepia Monkey Birthday Blank Greeting Card

There was cake. There was a hat. There was even a candle.

Unfortunately, no one had bothered to ask whether he wanted any of these things.

He sat politely through the celebration with the weary expression of someone who had already decided this would be his last birthday party. The cake remained untouched. The hat remained on. His resentment, however, grew rapidly.

Blank inside. He has made his feelings about birthdays perfectly clear. 🎂🐒🖤
